Thinking about painting my lounge room red has got me...well...confused. Red is such a dramatic and emotional colour, a real statement and has a big personality to be living with. I did a "google" search on the subject and there are so many suggestions. An article in the New York Times advised against what they called Bordello reds; bright, glossy and leering. Other articles suggest using red on the walls in more intimate spaces such as the bedroom and just sticking to red upholstery and decoration in main living spaces.
I've been looking at the Dulux website as I am leaning towards their designer silk range (http://www.dulux.com.au/colour/colour-gallery/hues-gallery/red). I have also been looking around the house for natural inspiration...now I'm really confused.
